INTERSCHOOL NETBALL
Our Senior and Intermediate girls netball teams played off against other district schools last week.
INTERMEDIATE A TEAM
Nyah Cameron and Ashleigh Morello both shot accurately and made the opposition defence work very hard all day. Ella Hards, Molly McDonald, Ebony Ietto and Taya Higgins all moved the ball smoothly and quickly down the court and gave our goal shooters plenty of opportunities. Defenders Ashleigh Goss, Maggie Monaghan and Tenah Fordham continuously picked off loose balls and made life very difficult for the opposition goalers. The team won all bar one game, giving it their all, but unfortunately fell short by two goals losing to Merbein P-10 College.
INTERMEDIATE B TEAM
The team were undefeated for the day. Emmalee Beggs, Indianna Marciano, Aleisha Hoyle and Isabelle Collins were strong in defence, providing plenty of turnovers to the midcourt players in Remi Cocks, Lily Krake and Ellie Pitt. Goal shooters Lilli Bock and Ava Mattschoss combined exceptionally well and barely missed a shot. A fantastic team effort.
SENIOR GIRLS
The senior girls team played just the one game against a strong Mildura Senior College outfit. The team consisting of Ellie Dimasi, Maddison Aiello, Shelby Couch, Louise Anstey, Kate Moonpen-Euvrard, Matisse Hill, Yasmin Thompson, Kaitlin Hards, Keira Young and Maia McKenzie played well, matching it with the opposition for half the game, but unfortunately finished second.
Well done to a very talented group of netballers who were a delight to coach. A special thanks to our umpires, particularly Charlotte Fleri and Matisse Hill.

JUNIOR GIRLS - YEAR 7
An amazing day at the Junior Interschool Netball Tournament with three Year 7 teams competing. All teams played very well, in particular the Division A Team who took out the competition with a clean sweep. They now progress to the LMR competition in Bendigo.

JUNIOR GIRLS - YEAR 8
On Tuesday June 7 two teams of Year 8 girls attended the Interschool Netball Tournament at the South Mildura Sports Precinct. With more involved this year, the girls had the chance to play against Irymple Secondary College, Merbein P-10 College, Red Cliffs Secondary College, Coomealla High School, and Henderson College.
The Division A team came out of the gate blazing and had resounding wins across the day, which will see them compete in the LMR competition in Bendigo next month. The Division B team won four out five games and consistently brought their best efforts. A mixture of experience and new faces on the court made for a great opportunity for all.
An excellent level of skill, college spirit and humble camaraderie was shown by all involved.

INTERSCHOOL GIRLS FOOTBALL
What a great day of Football! I am so proud of the way the girls conducted themselves on and off the field. The girls demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and a fierce but fair tenacity to attack the football. Both games went down to the wire. Unfortunately, we lost them by less than a goal.
Best players for the day included: Daisy Sheehan, Ruby Woollard, Neomai Burton, Iman Nazombe, Nanga Fangaloka and Demi Zanoni. Thanks for a very enjoyable day ladies.
