Swimming Carnival

Yesterday the grade 3-6s travelled to Fitzroy Pool to compete in the CNPS Swimming Carnival. The weather was great for swimming and our students were definitely SunSmart throughout the day. Our students participated amazingly and were able to show true resilience, persistence and determination. All of the ribbons were given out yesterday and students will be notified by tomorrow if they have qualified for the District Swimming which will be held next Thursday the 23rd at Fitzroy Pool. (Generally top 2 in each event, top 4 for freestyle relays)

These events can't be successful without the help of the teachers and parents  (making spreadsheets, timing, recording, marshalling, place judges, starters, walking to and from the venue, and giving out ribbons)

We really appreciated the time that you volunteered to make the day a great success.

The kids had a great time we couldn’t have done it without you all.

A special thanks to Maddi Davis for all her help in the coordinating the day.

I would like to thank Rachel Mathews, for her help with spreadsheets and recording on the day, which was a huge job. I would also like to thank Kristen Dearricott who helped with parent volunteers and Annabel Barker and Alice Knowles for purchasing 2 new marquees for the day.  A big thanks to Ross Perryman and Tony Sun who helped with the setup and take down of all the marquees.

The CNPS community is truly a special one.

Look forward to the District Event next week!

Thank you
