Swimming Trials

What a Fantastic day St Luke’s had at the swimming today.

Keisha, Maddison, Catherine, Sean, Sal and Noah all represented St Luke’s beautifully and we’re so supportive of one another!

Maddison competed in the 9/10 yr 50m freestyle and had a great PB.

She also swam the freestyle relay and a very strong freestyle leg of the medley relay.

Sean competed in the 50m freestyle, 50m breaststroke and breaststroke leg of the medley relay… a huge improvement between the individual and relay swim!

Keisha swam in the individual freestyle and backstroke with PBS in both events.  Keisha was also the lead swimmer in both the freestyle relay and the medley relay,  as she again swam the backstroke.

Catherine had two strong individual swims in the freestyle and breaststroke.   Catherine also was in the freestyle relay team with a fast swim beating her individual freestyle time.

Sal competed in the individual freestyle and breaststroke events.   He should be very proud of his efforts today.  He consistently cheered on all of the other swimmers, supporting the teams in the relays.

Noah came third in his freestyle.  Missing regional selection by 0.01secs, he was still happy as it was a big PB.

He did win his butterfly event and will be off to Hume regionals next week.

The freestyle relay team came 5th, narrowly missing 4th by less than a second.

The mixed medley relay team came third!

It was a great day!
