Well worth having a little look at the results from recent AusCycling MTB Nationals in Thredbo. All our ex-students did an awesome job and placed in their events amongst stiff competition, many of whom have been representing Australia on the world scale.

Tom Stockwell (Current CARR Club Champion) was 10th outright Under 23 Men in XCO and 10th in XC short course.

Owen Chenhall, 15th outright Under 23 Men in XCO and 15th in XC short course🥳

On a local level racing has been active across all disciplines. MTB Hours of Power Series has had 2 races with many of our students and staff giving it their all. Checkout the results table below to see how they are doing:

Road Racing is also back on the calendar and a couple of races in with Andrea Gailey leading her division.

BMX racing started last week and was more of a fun night with no timing, but we did see many a MTB bike out on the track. We are hoping to see more of this with MTB Vs BMX events on the 3rd Friday each month until end of Term 2 so there is a session this week for those who are curious.

MTB Academy and MTB Ex are now running on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6:15am -7:30am. Make sure that you have signed up through Operoo if you are intending to come. As we are currently just working through who's who before settling into more focused groups.
