Hi, I’m very excited to be joining the Fitzroy Primary School community and can’t wait to meet all the families. I’ll be teaching both Foundation classes in English and am looking forward to a fun year with Rebecca, Lucy and all our wonderful students.

Bonjour, I'll be teaching Foundation in French. I've been teaching at Fitzroy Primary for 4 years and I am also the French co-ordinator.

Bonjour, I’m one of the Foundation teachers this year and will also be providing French support to students across the bilingual program. I started at Fitzroy Primary in 2021 and am really looking forward to a busy year ahead with lots of learning and fun.

Hi Everyone! I teach English in Grade 1/2 with Diane, as well as teaching Art across the whole school. I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces and new faces around the school this year.

I am Diane Patron. I am originally from Mauritius, have lived in Australia and after many years overseas I returned here with my family 6 years ago. I have taught in both Primary and Secondary schools. It’s a pleasure to be back in the primary classroom again and to teach the bilingual program at Fitzroy primary .

My name is Julia and I am teaching the English program in 1/2 with Diane. I have a Master of Education degree in Literacy and I am passionate about supporting students with their learning. I am looking forward to a year of fun and learning with our class.

Bonjour! I will be teaching English & French to students in year 1 & 2.

I am from the beautiful South of France. I arrived in Australia seven years ago to be with my Australian partner. We have a wonderful cheeky little boy, full of energy to keep us busy and happy! A bientôt!

Hi. I teach both French and English in grade 3/4. I have moved here from Canada in 2022 and am very happy to be back at Fitzroy again this year!

Hi Families! I will be teaching English in 3/4 with Severine this year. My other roles include analysing the student learning data across the school and assisting students in literacy support. I am looking forward to a great year!

My name is Séverine and I come from Brittany in France. I have taught in the UK, Belgium, France and now in Australia. When I am free, I love outdoor activities with my family and my puppy,Dagobert. I will be teaching French in 3/4 J and French LOTE .

5/6 C-Year 5 & 6 -Camelia

My name is Camelia. I am looking forward to continuing my role as the 5/6 teacher again this year. I am also the Year 6-7 Transition Co-ordinator, NAPLAN Co-ordinator and I also organise the Grade 3-6 Camp.

5/6 S-Year 5 & 6 -Courtney

My name is Courtney and I will be teaching 5/6S. I have just moved to Melbourne from Ballarat, where I was teaching at a Specialist school. I am really looking forward to teaching at Fitzroy Primary this year.

Physical Education & Kitchen Garden-Kerryn

Hi, I`m Kerryn. I will be teaching PE at Fitzroy Primary School again this year and joining Vicki in the Kitchen Garden Program on Fridays. I have a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and have travelled overseas with gymnastic students. I have an 8 year old daughter and a cavoodle dog.

I also enjoy going to yoga.

Stem & Kitchen Garden-Vicki

I have been teaching at FPS for almost 30 years and have enjoyed a variety of roles here. Five years ago I was lucky enough to start the STEM program and share my passion with the students here. This year I am looking forward to another year in the Kitchen Garden Program. Outside of school I am a busy grandma to twins and fur mum to Sunday the Siamese.

Numeracy Learning Support-Nick

I have had many roles at the school since I started in 2006. This year I will be supporting students in numeracy and look forward to another great year of learning.

Respectful Relationships- Alex

I have been at Fitzroy Primary since 2017 and have enjoyed every minute of it! We have such a wonderful school community at Fitzroy and I hope to be able to help it grow in the coming years! This year I will be implementing the Respectful Relationships program at FPS.

I have been appointed the position as the tutor for another year . I am looking forward to continue supporting students in literacy at Fitzroy Primary School 3 days a week.

Hello, my name is Yves. I’m from a little village in the south-east of France. I love sports, travel and food. I’m excited to start my second year in education support at FPS working with many different grades.

I'm very excited to be working again with the lovely students at FPS and being involved in the Fitzroy community for another year as Education Support. My interests are cooking , music, camping with my kids , beach life and arts. I have 2 dogs, a cat and a little girl in year 2.

My name is Maria and I am a Brazilian theatre maker, clown and drama teacher. I am studying to become a teacher in Australia. It is a great honour to support students and teachers through their learning journey at FPS.

School Community Liaison Officer-Badria

I am the SCLO at Fitzroy Primary School and Collingwood College working on implementing the Victorian African Communities Action Plan (VCAP) supporting families. I organize the weekly parent group as well as supporting the BSL lunch-time program at FPS.
