I am looking forward to meeting regularly to get feedback about what is working well in our school and sharing ideas about ways we can collectively make St Brigid’s an even better place for our wellbeing.
First Action:
We began by reading, discussing and updating our co-constructed Child Safe Policy for St Brigid’s.
The Wellbeing Representatives have come up with some very creative and purposeful ideas in relation to this policy. We are looking forward to making these ideas materialise in the coming weeks.
DIGITAL WELLBEING
The Alannah & Madeline Foundation as part of eSmart are providing a parent webinar.
Parenting in the Digital World provides insight into the online worlds of young people including the latest trends, risks, and research, and includes a strong focus on social media. It also offers advice parents can use to help manage a child’s life online.

School Ban on Plastic Spoons and Forks
In line with the recent bans on plastic spoons and forks we will no longer be able to provide spoons and forks with their hot food.
If your child orders food from the tuckshop or brings food from home that requires a spoon or fork we are asking that you please supply it from home.
We are happy to support this move towards a more sustainable future.
