Meet the Teacher Conferences 

Last week we held the 2023 Meet The Teacher conferences. It was wonderful to have so many families attend either virtually or in person. These meetings provide great insight and information for our teachers. It also provides an opportunity for families to connect with the teacher, establish positive relationships and open pathways for communication. If there is anything further you would like to discuss with the classroom teacher, or either Flora or myself, please email and we will make a suitable time.

The Tropical Wellness Retreat

Our amazing team in the Discovery Centre have created a fantastic space in the MILE Room to support student learning as part of their Discovery Unit about Identify, Creativity and Wellbeing. When students step inside the MILE room they will be transported to a tropical rainforest retreat. It has been designed to evoke the calmness of a wellness retreat with a beautiful rainforest display, complete with boardwalk, swinging chair hammocks, Zen garden, and an open central area for practicing yoga, mediation and mindfulness. Throughout the space there will be a focus on engaging the senses: sight, smell, sound and touch. The Wellness Retreat is a space where students can explore, consider and reflect on what makes them, them.
