Ensemble Commencement

Please refer to SEQTA communication from ensemble directors regarding rehearsal times and locations. Students and families are particularly encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Music and Drama Calendar, and Secondary students must procure Music Uniforms through the Uniform Shop, where applicable.

 

For any absences from ensemble rehearsals, please ensure email communication is sent to ensemble directors or the Music Office. Further information on the College’s ensemble offerings can be accessed through all College Music Staff and the Music Office:

Music Photos

Music Photo Day is scheduled for Friday 10 March (Week 6). All College Primary and Secondary ensembles are photographed with instruments (where applicable). Secondary ensembles are photographed in Music Performance Uniforms which are purchased through the Uniform Shop. Students with uniforms should ensure they are tried on in case sizing has changed, as well as ensuring they have black socks and a plain black undershirt/singlet. Primary students are photographed in College Uniform with black shoes.

 

A schedule for photo day will be distributed in the coming week.

Chapel Choir

Chapel Choir is open to all Years 2 - 12 students who love singing, with a focus on liturgical music. Rehearsals commence at 7:30am in the Chapel with Ms Haydon and Mr Johnston. Chapel Choir then sings at Community Mass commencing at 8am. Secondary students who participate in Chapel Choir accrue Roncalli Service Hours. The next Chapel Choir rehearsal and Community Mass is Friday 24th February 2023. Please contact Mrs Haydon for more information.

Student Achievement

Congratulations to Harrison Byrne (Year 4) and Madeleine Grainger (Year 6) for being awarded Certificates of Distinction in their recent Grade 2 piano exams!

All families are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the policies, particularly regarding advice of student sickness/absence from lessons.
