Parent-Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences are being held during the first 2 weeks of Term 3:
Monday 12th July to Thursday 23nd July. The purpose is to connect with your child’s teacher and discuss your child’s progress. Bookings will close Thursday, 8 July 2021.
Parent Teacher Interviews are scheduled to be held face to face in your child’s classroom (restrictions permitting). Please book via the notification on your Compass homepage.
We can also support a virtual meeting via Webex if this is more convenient for you and your family. If you would prefer a virtual meeting, please book in your time as normal, then email the class teacher to inform them of your request for a virtual meeting. The teacher will share their Webex room link with you.
For all interviews, time slots are 15 mins each to allow for a 10 minute interview.
Optional Specialist Teacher Conferences
Specialist Teachers are also conducting optional conferences. (PE, Music/Drama, Art, French). If you have a pressing matter you wish to discuss there are limited time slots available for booking.

Dear Parents and Carers,
Our school has begun planning for the 2022 school year. In order to inform decisions surrounding the new school year, Brighton Primary asks parents to complete a two-question Compass Insight Survey.
You will find the survey link titled, ‘INSIGHT CYCLE OPEN | Is your child returning to BPS in 2022?', at the top of your Compass Homepage under My News.
We ask that you please complete this survey by 16 July 2021.
If you are accessing Compass via your phone, please ‘open in browser’ to display the Insight Cycle. Please note, if nothing appears in "My News" it means that you have already completed the Insight.

Prep 2022 Enrolment
Our planning and preparations for school year 2022 are well underway. We already have 65 students enrolled in Grade Prep for school year 2022.
If you currently have a child in kindergarten, plan to enrol your child in Prep at Brighton Primary School for next year and have not yet completed the application process, we would ask that you complete this enrolment form as soon as possible.
Please return this enrolment form to our Admissions Coordinator, Sally Collins in our ES Office or via email at Brighton.ps@education.vic.gov.au
Should you prefer to complete an online version of our enrolment form, please email the office with your future prep child’s full name, so that we can send you a personal link to the online form.
By enrolling earlier, you will have access to all important updates that are sent to Prep 2022 parents throughout the year. Your advance planning will also help us make advance arrangements related to staffing and ordering classroom resources. Thank you in advance.
Pupil Free Day | Term Three
The school's final pupil-free day for 2021 will be held in Term Three, Friday 16th July.
Team Kids After Hours School Care will be operating from 7am and 6.30pm on this day. You can register a booking with them by visiting www.teamkids.com.au
Dads Footy is Back - Sat 7 August -Dads Footy Sponsorship Pack
The Annual Dads Footy match is on again on Saturday, 7th August.
The organisers of the Dads Footy are inviting parents with businesses, the opportunity to Sponsor the Dads Football Game and associated Events.
