Class Visits

You might remember that in the last newsletter I mentioned that I would be visiting all classes to introduce myself and to get to know each student in the LNPS school community.

It has been a pleasure visiting classes around the school and familiarising myself with different learning spaces and most importantly meeting students in each class.

To get to know students in years R-2, I did literacy based songs, where students could practice their phonological awareness, while introducing themselves. 'Apple Tree' and

'Bumble Bee' were the name of the songs if you'd like to practise at home.

When I visited years 3-7 students, we played a Maths game called '21'. It has been pleasing to see teachers using this game as a brain break or as a way to finish off the day.

I would like to thank all teachers and students who welcomed me warmly into their classrooms, so that I could spend some time getting to know everyone. I have included some photos from my visits.
