I hope everyone is well. It has been extremely busy at LNPS over the past few weeks as we resume to some normality after the lockdown. We have begun Goal Setting and Learning Conferences online which is going extremely well and of course lots high quality teaching and learning has been happening.
The busy term continues with Science Week, Book Week (please see School of Thought in the newsletter for further details), KO Sports, Father's Day Stall, R-6 Swimming and a number of different excursions. Exciting times ahead!!
COVID-19 Update
The situation with COVID is still the same at the current time. We are continuing to strictly follow Department for Education and Health SA Guidelines. We appreciate everyones support in this area to ensure we all keep safe.
We are continuing to have drop off and pick up at the gates, hold assemblies without parents/caregivers, and would encourage everyone to only come on the school grounds if it is essential and if so through the Front Office. If you need to speak to a staff member please contact us and we will arrange a meeting as soon as possible. Hopefully some of these restrictions will be further reduced in the near future.
Teaching and Learning Newsletters
On Friday 6th August Teaching and Learning Newsletters were distributed to families. These newsletters focus on the everyday operations of the school as well as an extensive outline of how we approach learning at LNPS.

Parent survey
You’re invited to complete the 2021 annual parent survey, which is now open.
On Monday 2 August you would have received an email or SMS from the Parent Survey Team with a unique link to participate in the survey.
If you did not receive an email or SMS with your unique survey link, please contact education.ParentSurvey@sa.gov.au and include our school’s name in your email.
The survey takes less than 10 minutes and will help us understand:
- what we’re doing well
- where we can improve
- what’s important to you.
It has been coordinated centrally so that added administration workload isn't placed on the school.
Your answers will not identify you or your child. Only collated feedback will be provided to our school.
Information collected will inform school improvement planning and activities at the school.
The survey closes 5pm Sunday 29 August.

Secondary School Enrolment Offers
This term enrolment offers for secondary school will be sent to the families of our year 6 and 7 students. It is important for you to know that not all schools will send out their enrolment offers at the same time, but they will be sent as close as possible to 13 August 2021.
Most families will receive their offer via email. If you think you have not received your enrolment offer from your secondary school, you need to check your junk folder for an email from education.noreply@sa.gov.au.
If you did not provide an email address on your Registration of Interest form, you will receive your enrolment offer in the mail or it will be handed to you by your child.
If your enrolment offer has not arrived by 18 August, please contact Tegan in the Front Office via tegan.dart688@schools.sa.edu.au and she can follow up with the secondary school on your behalf.
If you need support to accept your enrolment offer, it is best to contact your allocated secondary school and they can step you through the process.

Registrations of Interest for enrolling your child in 2022 are now being accepted.
