Late Passes & Attendance

Meet our friendly (!), sometimes temperamental (not sure it likes these cold mornings!) Compass Kiosk which is located in our Front Office.  This is a new device we use for signing in visitors to our school and for parents/carers to use when their children are arriving late / leaving early.  This will also print out a late pass for students to show their teachers when they arrive late in the Classroom.  If teachers have already marked the roll and parents do not sign in via the kiosk, log an attendance note via Compass or call the School they will be be sent an "unexplained absence" message.

Students are not allowed to sign themselves in as late via the Kiosk.  A staff member will be required to sign them in as "Late-unexplained" if they arrive late without a parent.

Parents should not drop their late children into the classrooms, but go via the Front Office Kiosk instead.

These are all important ways we can ensure we are a child-safe school, keep track of attendance and create less disturbances in our classrooms.  Parents can also be confident that they know that their children are safe at school and have arrived on time.  

Attendance

Please enter an attendance note via the Compass App on your phone or through a web browser on your computer.  If you are having any difficulties doing this or have forgotten your password please contact the Office and we can help you.  You can enter attendance  notes on the day your child will be absent or in advance if you know upcoming absences.  

Appointments

If you need to come and collect your child to take them to an appointment please come to the Front Office kiosk to sign out and we can call through to the Classroom for them to meet you at the Office.  Please do not collect students from the Classroom.
