The theme for this year's book week is 

Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds

On Tuesday August 24th illustrator Ben Wood will be visiting and talking about his work.

Ben Wood is a children’s book illustrator, he has illustrated over 25 books, including Blast Off!  by Shelly Unwin, the Squishy Taylor series by Ailsa Wild, and the hilarious new series Real Pigeons by Andrew McDonald.  

Others include The flying Doctors, Underneath a Cow, Small and Big, The Bush Book Club, Big Bad Bushranger, Give Me a Home among the Gum Tees and many more.

The Book Fair will arrive at School on Tuesday August 17th and will be here till Friday August 27th.  

Children will bring home a wish list, and depending on restrictions parents/carers maybe able to come and look at the Fair.  (Orders will be accepted via the classroom.)

The Book Week Parade will be Friday August 27th.

Remember to put those thinking hats on and come up with a costume of a character from a book to wear at the book Parade.

The parade will take place first thing in the morning outside, weather permitting.  Depending on restrictions, all welcome.
