Aboriginal Bark Paintings

This week in Art, the 3/4s continued our Aboriginal Art theme and learnt about the history and significance of this style of storytelling, cultural rituals and art. Using bark as a canvas, students created patterns, pictures and symbols which they felt represented their own identity. Students thoroughly enjoyed this task, and sharing the meaning of their artwork  with their peers.
