Track Pants Needed

With the run of wet weather we have had recently, we are running low on supplies of  spare track pants in smaller sizes and would appreciate any donations of navy track pants in sizes 4-10.

A Note from Emily

I have been reflecting over the past few weeks on what our role is as part of the community. We started this term in lockdown, during this time I was told a story about how someone is using their gifts and abilities to help their community who have been struggling from the pandemic. A young Australian man has been living in the Congo for the past 10+ years working for an overseas aid organisation called Australia HOPE International.

He has been helping the poor, widows, orphans and over the last year, delivering food to those in need during the pandemic. During his time in Africa he found love and has recently had a small child. He and his family wanted to travel over to Australia to see his family, but due to complications, only he was able to travel. This was heartbreaking for the couple. However, during his stay in Australia he has been able to share with many what has been happening in Africa during the pandemic and how they have been helping. As a result, hundreds of people have been able to donate money to the cause and the young man’s wife in Africa has been able to distribute food more to those who need it. Think about your own abilities and strengths, how could you use them to reach out to others in our community? Sometimes it is as simple as showing someone you care and support them, baking them a meal, giving some flowers, picking up rubbish, helping someone in their garden. I encourage you to reflect on how you can be community minded to those around you.

Take care of yourselves,

Emily, Pastoral Care Worker

COVID restrictions

Thank you to all families for helping us to keep everyone safe! It has been a really smooth start back this week and we really appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Please be aware of the ongoing current COVID restrictions:

Pick up and drop off

  • Please do not enter the school grounds, unless you have business that cannot be conducted by phone or email.
  • Wear a mask at all times when picking up or dropping off students. Please note that students in Primary School do not need to wear masks.
  • We will be asking students to leave the school grounds as soon as you are there to collect them, rather than playing in the playground after school.
  • Please remain in your car until students are dismissed at the end of the day at the bell at 3:10, and maintain the required physical distancing from others when picking up your child.

If you do need to enter the school grounds, please check in with the displayed QR code, wear a mask and keep the required distance from others. If you need to speak to your child’s teacher, please make contact through the SeeSaw app and they will ring you back. Meetings about children’s learning will take place online or over the phone until further notice.
