Music Matters

As we go into the second week of lockdown at school I am happy to report that most of our rehearsals and lessons are online. Please encourage your sons to embrace their online musical learning. Classes online are going well with good engagement from most students.

We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and hope to be able to report about concerts etc in next week’s Woodchatta.

School continues, along with assessments. Our Year 12 Drama students will be presenting their Trial performances this Sunday in the Sarto Centre. Unfortunately, there will be no audience for this event. I do want to acknowledge PAPA at this time and in particular Mrs Carmel Daniels who will be providing some food packages for the boys to make their event just a little more special. Well done to the boys and Ms Lindley for their efforts in these times.

We are thinking of all the St Pius X families and hoping their loved ones are safe and sound.  Please find attached a six monthly report from the PAPA Committee.  PAPA remains extremely passionate about the Performing Arts and the ongoing opportunities for the SPX boys.
