Lord Jesus, I ask for Your help as we begin this new term –
a time when it looks very different.
Allow me to experience Your presence in the many blessings You put before me –
even when I find it hard to acknowledge blessings at this time.
Open my eyes to the new challenges and opportunities that are placed before me.
Be with me when I find it hard to work away from school,
my workplace, family and my friends.
Open my heart and mind to those who I live with.
Give me a strong and generous spirit.
Help me to be adaptable and attentive with my work and studies online
and let me experience Your presence in a time of restriction.
Jesus, inspire me, support me and guide me.
We ask Your blessing on us – our families, our school,
our friends, our work colleagues and all those we love.

Live Jesus in our hearts, forever.
My sincere thanks as always for the partnership of students, staff and parents. We have had an excellent start to online learning and this is certainly due to the close working relationship of all of us. Please reach out to the College if you are in need of support and especially when you have concerns about your son.
Online learning is going well and while we know its limitations, we are grateful for the improved developments we are continuing to make and the vast majority of students are engaging well.
You will notice that I didn’t write to parents on Monday. There was nothing new to report so I decided that parents didn’t need another email to read. I may write on Friday if there is something new to report but I think we are just continuing as we are for the present.
Last Friday at our Assembly and in my letter to the community I emphasised the need for students to put their phone away all day. Again, I strongly insist that the students follow this school rule and I urge parents to remind their son to stay on task and put their phone away.
The College will conduct another whole school Assembly this Friday from 8.55 am - 9.10 am. Parents are welcome to join us.

It will come as no surprise that the ISA has decided to cancel the competition rounds set down for Saturday 31 July and Saturday 7 August. The College and the ISA will endeavour in every way to resume internal school sport and ISA competition as soon as the NSW Government permits this.
We continue to encourage all our boys, their families and the staff to keep exercising and stay fit for a return to sporting competition when it is possible.
The Junior School Sports Association (IPSHA) has yet to determine future competition, however it is expected that this will be the same as for ISA.
