Semester Reports and Parent Survey

Semester One reports will be available on COMPASS from Friday 25th of June. This report includes information on student progress for each Curriculum Area taught during Semester One.

The learning growth of Year 7 to 10 students is reported against the Victorian Curriculum Achievement Standards. VCE (Unit 1 and 3), VCAL and VET reports are assessed against Outcomes (as prescribed in relevant study designs).

Please be aware that the period of remote learning has made some impact on reporting on some final assessments. Some reports may indicate ‘Not Assessed’ (NA) for Assessment Tasks, as they are still in the process of being marked and returned to students with feedback. Exams have been postponed to Semester 2 and will be labelled as ‘NA’.

If parents/carers have concerns arising from these Semester Reports, please email or telephone the appropriate Year Level Leader to discuss any issues.

When it comes to writing your child’s school report, we want to make sure that we are giving you the information that you require. 

We would like to know if our reports are informative enough in terms of outlining your child's learning achievements against the Victorian curriculum skills and knowledge, the progress they are making and suggested improvements for learning. 

It may be that you are happy with the current format, have some suggestions for improvement or you are a new parent/carer to the school- we appreciate your input.
