Active Kids is a program to help NSW families meet the cost of getting their kids into sport, active fitness and recreation activities.
From 1 July 2019, parents, guardians and carers can apply for a second $100 Active Kids voucher. This means two $100 Active Kids vouchers per calendar year are available to school-enrolled children. The vouchers can be redeemed for registration or membership fees with an approved provider who has registered with the Active Kids program.

On 1 November 2020, the Victorian Government announced $21 million over two years for the Get Active Kids Voucher Program. The Program is a Victorian first and will provide support to under-represented groups experiencing barriers to participation in sport and recreation.
The Get Active Kids Voucher program will support the delivery of 100,000 vouchers to support children get involved in organised sport and active recreation activities by providing up to $200 towards the cost of membership, sports equipment or uniforms.
