Foundation

We were very lucky this week to be visited by some firemen. They showed us all their firefighting equipment and taught us what to do to stay safe if we are near a fire. We learnt how to crawl down low and go, go, go! and how to stop, drop, cover, roll if our clothes catch on fire. They taught us how to call the fire brigade by dialling 000 and asked us to talk to our parents about making a family escape plan. They also brought along the big fire truck and all the Foundation students had the opportunity to squirt water from the hose and sit in the truck.

As we come to the end of the term, we are preparing to share our learning and progress with our parents. We are sure they will be very impressed and happy with our first half-year of school.
