Principals Message

Dear Parents,

Welcome to another year at St Xavier’s and to all our new families, you are very welcome. We thank you for choosing us, we will enjoy helping your children learn, make decisions and form friendships.

The staff were busy during the break looking at your children’s results and any particular needs they may have. Of course, beyond the academic needs are the daily, and long term, emotional and social needs on which we place great importance. Relationships are the key to everything we do and that includes our relationship with you.

Communication is vital! Please read the information we send home, contact us if you need to, listen to your child’s stories and remember we are here to help and support.

I look forward to catching up with you at the Parent Information meetings, all to be held next Monday night. Come and find out a bit more about the initiatives on offer in each grade this year, enjoy a cool drink and a chat with other parents.

Student Feature-A Blast from the Past!

This week we had a visit from an ex student. Nathan Moore completed Yr 6 last year and now attends St Mary’s College. Nathan dropped in to see how we were going and said he is loving St Mary’s. He has met new people and he likes that his friendship circle has widened. Nathan likes moving from room to room and he is enjoying having multiple teachers. We love hearing good news about how our ex students are faring.

Welcome Miss Clift

We are very lucky to have Miss Rosie Clift join us at St Xavier's this year. Rosie brings plenty of new ideas and enthusiasm with her and we can't wait to see her in action in Kindergarten.
