Easter Raffle - Casual Clothes Day TOMORROW

Tomorrow,  Thursday 12 March students can come to school in casual clothes! Instead of a gold coin donation, students are asked to bring an Easter treat or item (e.g. Easter egg, egg basket, Easter book or crafts).

Donations will be made up into hampers as prizes for the Easter raffle.

The children will be given raffle tickets to sell (and accompanying instructions) by their classroom teacher on the Casual Clothes Day.

Please return all money, sold and unsold tickets in the envelope provided clearly labelled with your child's name, grade and amount of money included by  Monday 23rd March.

Raffle winners will be announced at assembly on the last day of term, Friday 27 March.

We look forward to your support with this fundraiser!

Note of the p&F Annual General Meeting

The P&F’s AGM was conducted last night.

We would like to say ‘thank you’ to Rachel Marsden for her great work at P&F as our convenor. The P&F is happy that she will be in the P&F team as vice-convenor.

We say welcome to our new convenor. Heather Hosken. P&F wish her all the best to make it a wonderful year at Ormond PS.

Fundraising results

Our current balance (carried over 2018 and what we raised in 2019) is

$33,970. This has been raised from events such as the Easter raffle, Walkathon and the Trivia night.

With the other funds raised we bought the outside furniture and put it in resources in the school library and board games.

If you couldn’t make the AGM, it doesn’t mean you can’t join future meetings to bring your ideas, enthusiasm or curiosity to the table. Our meetings are relaxed and enjoyable. Being a part of P&F is a great way to connect with and contribute to your school community, while making new friends.
