Art Show
Tonight we will be holding our annual School Art Show in St Anne's Hall commencing at 5:30pm with a musical performance thanks to Mrs Frances Tafra followed by the winners being announced at 6pm. All families are encouraged to attend. We thank the P&F for their support of this event.
Entry to the Art Show is by gold coin donation. We look forward to seeing you there.
Whole School Assembly
The last Whole School Assembly for Term 1 will be held at 2.40pm on Friday, 6 April 2018. 6R will be presenting this assembly. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Starting School Open Morning
Kindergarten 2019 enrolments will open at our Starting School Open Morning on Thursday, 10th May. To register for the Open Morning, please visit the school website (www.stmarysarmidale.catholic.edu.au) and click on the Starting School Open Morning link.
Please let your family and friends with children starting school in 2019 know. Flyers are available from the school office if required.
Uniform for Cross Country and Infants Fun Run
As the Cross Country and Infants Fun Run will be held tomorrow (5th April) children in all years (Kinder - Year 6) are asked to wear their sports uniform with coloured house shirts.
On Friday all students will wear their summer uniform.
Clothing Pool - Jumpers
The Clothing Pool has lots of jumpers at the moment. Until the end of Term 1, we will be selling them for $2 each. This is a great opportunity to pick up a spare jumper.
A reminder that Clothing Pool opening hours is Thursday afternoons 2.30 pm - 3.10 pm.
O’Connor Catholic College - Enrolments for Year 7 in 2019
O’Connor Catholic College extends an invitation for students seeking enrolment into Year 7 in 2019. The first round of Year 7 applications, will close on Monday 9 April. Fully completed application forms and the $50 application fee need to be lodged at the College on or before Monday 9 April. After this date, applications will be open to the wider community.

ANZAC Day March
ANZAC Day falls in the second week of the school holidays this year. Students from our school always proudly participate in the ANZAC Day March. We will be gathering in the Moore Street carpark at 10.00 am and we will proceed with the March at 10.30 am along Faulkner Street to Central Park. Students are asked to wear their full winter school uniform and will march as a group behind the St Mary’s school banner. All families are encouraged to support this important day in our nation’s history. A note was sent home with students yesterday.
A permission note was sent home last week, and is also available on the Skoolbag app and below. Please complete and return this note by Friday 6th April.
GRIP Student Leadership Conference - Year 6
The GRIP Student Leadership Conference permission note was sent home with all Year 6 students yesterday. Please return payment to school by Wednesday 11th April. Payment can be made by QKR, cash, cheque or eftpos.

Coles Sports for Schools
The Coles Sports for Schools program finished yesterday, 3rd April. The collection box at school will remain in the foyer until the end of term. The box located at Coles has been collected.
