KSC BYOD Program

Kurunjang Secondary College is proud to announce we are implementing a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program for our 2019 Year 7 cohort.

In a world of ever-increasing technological use, our school is striving to equip students with the tools, knowledge and skills to take in their careers and futures. Students will be able to engage with their schooling more than ever with use of digital tools such Microsoft Office 365.

Students enrolled into Year 7 for 2019 will be required to purchase a Windows-based tablet for use in all of their classrooms. To ensure that students receive the optimal use out

of their device we have the following requirements, as well as some recommendations.

The recommended devices for our 2019 BYOD Program are:

• Microsoft Surface Go 64GB (Education Edition) – RRP $599
• Lenovo Miix 510 – RRP $1099

It is not a requirement to choose one of the devices listed but the tablet does need to meet the requirements listed in the table above. Please note – this is not a laptop program nor are students allowed to bring netbooks.

Kurunjang Secondary College has partnered with JB Hi-Fi to create an educational offer for these tablets at a discounted price. There will also be the ability to purchase recommended and optional extras such as:

• Keyboard                               Pen / Stylus
• Insurance                              Extended Warranty
• Finance
