Colour Explosion 2018

On your marks, get ready, run!

Thursday 17 May saw the annual Colour Explosion, a fun run combined with the excitement of staff and students showering competitors in coloured dye. Importantly, it should be noted that the colour element is borrowed from the Holi festivals held by several religions originating on the Indian Sub-Continent. Where the religious festival celebrate the coming of Spring, our event celebrated the fun of the run. All students from Year 7 participated with additional students taking part in the event to qualify for further running events. We thank all the students for getting into the spirit of the afternoon and for any parent who had to wash some clothing, thank you for understanding!  Staff were also not immune and a few went home with some colourful tales to tell of their own.
