Congratulations to Sophie Jennings
Congratulations to Sophie Jennings who has been selected in the Victorian girls U18 indoor cricket team to compete at the National Championships in NSW in July.
Sophie has also been selected in the Cricket Without Borders squad to tour Samoa as an invitational team in the International Cricket Council's East Asia Pacific tournament - a qualifying tournament for the World Cup. She will be competing against women's teams from Japan, Samoa, PNG and Fiji as well as going into local schools to teach girls how to play cricket.
Congratulations to Mikayla George
Congratulations to Mikayla George who is paving the way to becoming our first indigenous Australian to compete at the Winter Olympics in 2022.
Mikayla is an aerial skier and following a trip to Utah at the end of 2015 is now gearing up to continue her training here in Victoria this winter as part of the Victorian Institute of Sport’s aerial skiing ¬development program.

Congratulations to Lauren Pengelly
Congratulations to Lauren Pengelly who was recently named the ‘Gymnast of the Year’ in the National stream at the Gymnastics Victoria annual awards night for 2015. Lauren was one of seven finalists in this category and the award is a testament to her hard work and dedication as an elite gymnast. Congratulations Lauren!
