Spelling Bee Final 2016

It was a nail biting final of the Wantirna College Spelling Bee.   We had 12 finalists, some of whom were called upon to perform at the last minute.  Mr Kelly did a stirling job as Spell Master and Mrs Bell and Ms Neiva were highly stringent judges.  In the end Dain Yung was declared our Spelling Champion, with Hannah McClean, Emily Ung and Tayler Harkin coming second, third and fourth respectively.  Congratulations to everyone who made it to the final and to the eventual winners, who all received JB Hi Fi vouchers.  Start reading your dictionaries now as the heats of Wantirna College Spelling Bee 2017 will be starting either later this term or in term two!
