Welcome to Compass information

"How to" of Compass

Thank you to the many families who have been using Compass so far, and enjoying the many benefits and features that Compass has to offer. This includes accessing up to date and meaningful information about the school and your child’s progress.

To log in to Compass you can click on the Compass at the bottom of the Wantirna College Website http://www.wantirnacollege.vic.edu.au. Alternatively, you can access the Compass link directly at http://schools.compass.edu.au, where you can search for Wantirna College.

Compass is a web based system that is accessible on any web based browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari).

Every family should now have received their ‘Welcome to Compass’ booklet and details with their unique username and password to access the parent portal. Upon first log in, you will be required to change your password and confirm your email address and mobile phone number.

To approve consent and payment for excursion and incursions (including the Swimming Carnival):

On your phone:

Touch the "hamburger bun" menu symbol in the top left hand corner.

Choose "Open in Browser"

Then follow the instructions below

- on your phone or computer:

From the Compass home page, click on the event alert under ‘My News’ (highlighted in the top right hand corner on the home page) or navigate to ‘Events’ under the organisation menu item.
From here, click the red ‘Process Now’ button to provide consent and /or payment for any event.
An online payment / consent form will be displayed.
Complete all highlighted relevant fields and click the ‘Submit Details’ button.
Please note. You only need to complete the medical details or Emergency Contact Numbers if they differ from those details already held on file. If no details need to be updated, please leave these fields blank.

Important information:

Your unique username and password is for the parents / guardian only. Please do not share these details with your child. Your child should not be approving events and/or approving unexplained absences on your behalf.

If all parents could please ensure your child has approved consent the upcoming Swimming Carnival on Tuesday 21st February, it would be greatly appreciated.
