Sustainability at St Raphael's

Happy Mother's Day

A big thank you to our St Raphael's families for their donations of easter eggs, ribbons, jars, fabric and flowers to help create goodies for our Mother's Day Stall.  We had a busy week with many students volunteering their time during lunch to help create our hand made gifts. Our Year 3/4 students also contributed by creating our 'Cookies-in-a-Jar' and 'Rocky Road' in addition to planting pansies and flowers for sale.  It was a wonderful effort by all involved and we hope our mothers enjoyed their gifts and special day.

Walk Safely to School Day

Walk Safely to School Day is this Friday 17th May.  Walk Safely to School Day is an annual, national event when all primary school children are encouraged to walk and commute safely to school.  This Friday join Ms Catherine and catch the "WALKING BUS"  with Mum or Dad.  We will be leaving from J.S. Grey Reserve, Corner of Regent street and Gilbert road at 8.30am and travelling to school by foot along Gilbert road.  Stickers will be available to all students who attempt to walk, ride or scoot to school on Friday.  Hope to see you there!
