World's Greatest Shave

On the 22nd of March Scarlett, Sophie, Jolie, Alex, Rachel, Lan, Georgia, Stephanie, Vivienne and I all Participated in the World Greatest Shave 2019 (WGS). As a school we have raised over $18,000! This is such a great achievement and contribution that everyone made.

My experience in the WGS was amazing and I’m so happy that I had the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing cause. Leading up to the day, I was feeling all kinds of emotions, I was happy, excited but also really nervous. As it came to the big day, I had all my friends there to support me and cut my hair for me. As each plait got chopped off, I kept on thinking that “this is all going to be made into a wig, it will grow back, they’re not going to cut head!” Once they had finished, I had hair all over my face and all down my back! Everyone was there smiling and cheering, and it put a massive smile on my face!

Overall everyone did an amazing job an I’m so proud of everyone who was brave enough to shave!
