Wellbeing

In Health, Happiness & Solidarity

The Wellbeing Team would like to commence by welcoming our Senior students back to school for face-to-face learning and await the return of our Junior and Middle year students with great optimism.

The Wellbeing Team has been working closely with various sub-schools, external services and professionals to ensure the safe return of our students, as we recognise how uncertainty can leave some people feeling overwhelmed, anxious and concerned, however it’s important to remember that these emotions are completely normal and natural under the circumstances. We also acknowledge how this period will provide time for reflection and opportunities for increasing awareness, growth and development moving forward.

We sense students will be focused on daily expectations and learning upon their return, however we recognise the importance of health, wellbeing and connectedness during these times of change.

We also accept how this period may create additional stress for some students and accept the shift to face-to-face learning now may have some initial challenges, but it’s often times like this, we need to focus on the positives and exercise gratitude.

Equally, we shouldn’t underestimate the benefits of self-care and incorporating daily mindfulness-meditation exercises, as these daily practices can improve our capacity to stay focused, shift mood, foster happiness and resilience, make healthy choices and increase motivation levels.

The Wellbeing Team have created a list of reputable resources and services available to students and family - please see below:

Please feel free to contact the Wellbeing Team if you or your child has any wellbeing (or careers) related questions or concerns.
