Year 11 Food Studies

 As part of Unit 1, students have identified patterns of change in Australia's food industries and cultures, and used foods indigenous to Australia and those introduced through migration in the preparation of food products. 

 

Last Wednesday students did a great job producing 'Calzones with silverbeet and indigenous flavours'

Year 12 Food Studies

As part of Unit 3, students have been analysing factors affecting food access and choice, influences that shape an individual's food values, beliefs and behaviours and applied practical skills to create a range of heathy meals for children and families. 

 

Last Wednesday's Production class saw Naomi and Vivian create a healthy breakfast product for a busy family. They needed to meet a specific design brief and current trends. 

 

Naomi produced - Superfood Porridge with quinoa, chia and flax

 

Vivian produced - Savoury Veggie Breakfast Bowl
