New Facilities Mean More Fun for Returning Students

While remote learning from home has left our school grounds quiet and almost deserted over the past couple of months, it has also provided an opportunity to upgrade and install some new facilities, including the much-anticipated Gaga Pit in the Senior play area.

You may remember that the Gaga Pit was top of the wish-list of last year's Student Leaders and one of Christian Holdsworth's first promises when he took over as Principal.

Our Groundsman, Kim McCallum-Howell has spent past weeks constructing and putting the finishing touches to the Gaga Pit, which is now complete and proving an enormous hit with the Senior students who have been remote learning onsite.

The new play area is a great addition to the recreation spaces around the school, providing exercise an opportunity for fun, teamwork and co-operative play in the fresh air.

Our thanks to Kim for his expertise and great handiwork and to the Senior students, past and present, whose vision and initiative have given our school such a great new playspace.
