Education Support Thank You Day!
Video Tribute - Thank you Education Support Staff!
Whilst teachers have been off-site, safe, our Education Support staff have been soldiering on in our Administration office, Careers office, IT office, Sub-school offices, our virtual classrooms, home offices and in the school grounds.
They have worked hard to ensure our systems and processes remain in place, our physical and virtual workplaces are safe and allow us to focus on teaching and learning.
To say thank you, and in recognition of Education Support (ES) Personnel Day on 16 May, the DSC Leadership team and teachers prepared the following 'thank you' video:

"Vanessa Ramsay is always on hand to answer questions students and parents have about career and pathway options and is always seems to be able to provide us with important information when we're scratching our heads over a VET or VCAL issue. Vanessa is an integral link between the school and the broader business community, and we'd be lost with out her. Thank you for everything you do, Vanessa. Mr Dennis."
"Donna McKinlay - you have been nothing short of amazing this year. The care and attention you give students goes far above the call of duty. You have been an instrumental support as a new coordinator and so knowledgeable about how we can better support our students. "Zoe Rohrlach is such an efficient worker and a calming influence on us all in the Senior Centre. She works quietly in a high pressure environment and always goes above and beyond to assist staff and students. She is a friendly person and makes the Senior Centre a great place to visit. "Mali Panahi has been instrumental in supporting our Farsi-speaking families in the transition to remote learning. She has been able to support students in their learning programs at Senior School. Additionally, Mali has been supporting students and families in their access to technology and Compass. She is always prompt with her communication and is extremely professional and polite. "Anne Wakeham has been an integral part of the Senior School team during remote learning. Her support of VET students is second to none. She consistently follows up students with their VET reports, attendance, online connection issues and academic successes and concerns. Anne is diligent in her communication. Week in and week out, she checks on students to see what they have achieved in the past week, and ensures that families are always informed.
