COVID-19 Restrictions

COVID-19 Restrictions are still in place and are designed to protect us all.  

Thank you for your ongoing support and understanding with the implementation of restrictions.

Monday 22 June is the next scheduled announcements from our Premier, in which there may or may not be further restrictions lifted.

Students returning to school

It is an absolute credit to each and every child and family, for the way in which students have resumed their learning on-site.

With fantastic support from all the important people in their lives, including  family, teachers, school staff and peers, they all enjoyed a highly successful return over the past three weeks.

Congratulations, and please continue to seek appropriate support for your child/ren as required.

Assemblies

Under current restrictions, we are somewhat limited with what we can do, however, it is important to still celebrate and acknowledge ongoing learning and outstanding achievers.

Thank you to the numerous families who joined us on WebEx last Friday.  It is wonderful to have your ongoing support and know that the students do notice!

We will continue to have assembly each fortnight, on a Friday at 2:45 pm via WebEx.  Links will be shared in the iNewsletter on the Wednesday prior to each assembly.

This Friday is not a scheduled assembly, our next one will be on Friday 19 June - hope you can all join the classrooms via WebEx then!

Camps, Excursions etc

Following the Monday 22 June announcements from our Premier, I will be able to announce confirmation and / or cancellation of Term 3 events.  I appreciate your patience, and I am trying to delay decisions, to allow the most informed outcome for all.

Our overall health & well-being will be centre to my final decision of all events.

Term 4 events are pending until decisions will be made in term 3 regarding their undertaking.

School Council training

Next Monday 15 June, our 2020 School Councillors will undertake DET training provided by Synergistiq.

Training will be online from 5:30 pm and cover all facets of our School Council under the following areas: governance; strategic planning; finance; and Policy & Review.
