Feast of Corpus Christi
The Feast of the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, which is also known as the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ,was celebrated on Sunday 14th June. This feast day honours the real presence of the body (corpus) of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
Sacramental Program
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Sacramental Program has been delayed.
The Bishop is currently putting together a plan to recommence sacramental programs in schools. Given the current restrictions around church gatherings things may not proceed as per normal. We will pass on information as soon as we receive it.
Religion Around Our School
Early Stage One
In Kindergarten the children have been learning about God's Creation. The children have explored land, sky and water. The children were given the opportunity to illustrate about each of these elements.
Stage One
Stage one children have been learning about The Ascension. The children had to explain what happened to Jesus and illustrate how this happened.
Stage 2
In stage 2 the children have been looking at relationships and sharing God's Love.
They have been learning what might happen if they don't treat each other well, as well as identifying the right way to treat others.
In the second activity they had to match the definition to its correct word. These key words are rules to creating a good relationship.
Stage 3
In Stage 3 the children have been learning about the fruits of the Holy Spirit. This week they had to choose one of these fruits and write a song, poem or prayer about this fruit. Here are some examples of what the children have created.
