Mathematics Competition 2022

WHS had an overwhelming response from students requesting to participate in this year's Mathematics Competition. 

In total, 50 students from Years 7-12 competed in the competition:

Year 7: 19 students

Year 8: 17 students

Year 9: 1 student

Year 10: 10 students

Year 11: 1 student

Year 12: 1 student

The competition allows students to investigate their abilities mathematically and exposes them to testing conditions outside of the classroom, getting them job and tertiary ready.

Students competing in the Mathematics Competition show future employers and educational services, (including Universities), that they are willing to participate in extracurricular activities focused on self-betterment and educational goals, which is always highly sort after.

All participants will receive a certificate, ranging from participation through to high distinction. These certificates are an excellent addition to a CV or work portfolio.
