Second Hand Uniform Shop - Wednesday 3 August

Do you need any extra uniform items?

The second hand uniform shop will be open on Wednesday 3 August from 8.45 – 9.30 am.

The shop will be located in the school hall, with entry via the north-east door.

COVID restrictions have eased but please be mindful of social distancing. If arriving early, please line up against the large hall windows so students have space to pass.

Items are priced from 50c to $10 per piece (cash sales only)

If you are unable to attend, feel free to send a friend along on your behalf. You can also send your child to the hall with a list and money in an envelope, and we will do our best to fill your order. Unfortunately, items cannot be held, left at the office or taken to classrooms.

Any donations of clean uniform pieces and coat hangers would be greatly appreciated. They can be left at the school office.

School Colour Fun Run

Colour fun run news…

We had an amazing day despite some rain and change of space. The students, teachers, parent volunteers had the best day and there was so much happiness, laughter and colour in the air.

As a school community we raised an incredible amount of money and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the students and parents for all their hard work in getting sponsorships and to all the major, grade and class sponsors we couldn’t have done it without your help!

Congratulations to KM for being the class that raised the most amount of money - $777, along with their year 5 buddies in 5M who came in as a very close 2nd with $726 bring raised. These 2 classes got to celebrate this win by covering Mrs Charadia and Mr A in colour and they loved it. A big thanks to Mrs Charadia and Mr A for being awesome on the day.

As the awesome Joey’s school community we raised a total of $15,800 for our school.

What an amazing effort. Congratulations to you all!!

Last but not least a big thank you to all the parent volunteers on the day. This event couldn’t be run successfully without you all and I know we had just as much fun as the kids and we look forward to doing it all again next year!

As you know there were some prizes to be won for those who raised the most amount of money in their stage group.

CONGRATULATIONS

KINDERAbigail C KM
