Week 3

Buddy session was so fun!!

-Our buddies organised games for us to play and rotate through! Look how much fun we had! We played dodge ball, stilts, hurdles and played with giants balls.

In Literacy this week:

We have been focusing on the letter 'Pp' this week and still focussing on the sound 'th' - as in thing. We had fun using whiteboards to write 'p' words. We have also been looking at summarising stories and retelling the main ideas. For example: the beginning, the middle and the end of a story. We have also been practising writing our lower case and upper case letters correctly on the line and focussing on using full stops in the correct place.

Our focus book this week is: Possum magic. Here are some of our amazing retells!

In Maths this week:

We have been revising what we know about doubles and looking at 'near doubles' as in seeing 4+4=8 (double) so we can understand that 4+5 must be 9 (adding one more to make a near double). We have also been revising the days of the week (Monday to Sunday) and played sit down Sunday! A super fun game we love!!
