Year 11 and 12

A peek into year 11 and 12 activities

Our year 11 and year 12 students have had an exciting term packed with lots of learning balanced with fun! The 'Warm and Fuzzy day' was a highlight of the term.Ā

Level Crossing ExcursionĀ

šŸ‘·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøYear 11 and 12 Physics students received a tour of the level crossing works at Gap Road in Sunbury. Andy, the project manager, talked the students through the process of building an underpass and his day-to-day role as a professional engineer. It was an insightful and interesting day.Ā

Industry InsightsĀ

Year 11 and 12 students had an opportunity on Tuesday 9 August during connect to listen to Alumni Stefan Drossos, Area Manager Koko Black and industry representatives Dave Coughlin from Mainfreight and Robbie Milne from Empowering women in trades to share their career journeys. There were some fantastic insights shared and challenges that they faced. A huge thank you to Stefan, Dave & Robbie for giving up their time.

Warm and Fuzzy Day

On Thursday 11 August the year 12s had their much anticipated Warm and Fuzzy Day! The day began with a visit from ā€˜Cameronā€™s Coffeehouseā€™ where the students enjoyed a hot drink before school. The year 12s Ā spent the week writing positive, encouraging and uplifting messages for their peers and teachers and were able to sit down to read these over a BBQ lunch.Ā

The messages of support will help motivate the year 12s through their final months of school and this day will definitely be remembered for years to come!
