Skillzone

Skillzone started on week 3 and will end after week 8, giving each class six sessions each.

Skillzone prepares us and teaches us about the sports that we will be doing on Athletics Day which is on 2nd September. We decided to interview some classes about their experience so far.

Q- What have you done in Skill Zone?

Emmy 56S: "We have done high-jump, Flinch, and Wizards- Elves and Warriors."

Ash-lee 45S: "We have done Wizards, Elves, and Warriors and a game called Flinch along with that we have done some high jump."

Hunter 12N: "We have done High jump and Tag."

Nicholas P1W: "We have done high jump."

Q- What is your Favourite part of Skill Zone?

Emmy 5-6S: "I think that I liked Flinch the most because I like that you try to trick people."

Ash-Lee 45S: "My favourite part is just doing the sport and playing the games."

Hunter 12N: "Honestly, I just like it all."

Nicholas P1W: "My favourite activity was high jump and pendulum.  A game where you have 4 teams, there are balls in the centre of a square and a person in the middle of them swinging a ball on a string if you get hit by the ball you have to drop your ball and run back to the end of the line and the next person goes."

Q- Are you excited about Athletics Day?

Emmy 5-6S: "Yes, because I like sports a lot, particularly the sprint."

Ash-Lee 45S: "Yes, because I am excited for the sports particularly hurdles."

Hunter 12N: "Yes, because I really like sport."

Nicholas P1W: "Yes, because I love sport."

It looks like everyone is excited for Athletics Day and we hope that you all come and watch our kids at Numurkah Primary try their best at sports.
