Principal's Report

School Wide Positive Behaviour

Last week the Department of Education Senior Education Improvement Leader for our school, Charles Branciforte, visited the school. He particularly noted the positive way students interacted with him and each other as he visited many classrooms across the school. As we have returned to onsite learning we have prioritised working with students on the social skills that have been harder to develop over the last two years. These social skills are important for learning, but also crucial in positive student wellbeing. We will continue this work throughout 2023. In term 3 we have a specific focus in our School Wide Positive Behaviour program on students engaging positively with staff and each other.
