Principal's Message

Nurture.  Innovate.  Celebrate.

Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Families,

BRAINSTORM PRODUCTION 2022

On Friday 3rd June 2022, all of the students gathered together in the new gym to participate in the Brainstorm Productions incursion. The performance ‘Saving Lil and Archie’ , was an exciting live performance that showed our Maramba students how to regulate their emotions and connect with other in a positive way. It explored strategies for the safe use of technology, dealing with bullying and getting the right balance between screen time, sleep, exercise and face to face communication. They taught us this with a live play which included songs, dancing, and storytelling.

The message that I get from this performance is to be safe when scouring the internet. If I am feeling sad or overwhelmed I could take a break, go outside, talk to an adult, or take some deep breaths. Lincoln Year 6

My favourite part of the show was when they were dancing and the girl became sassy and fell over. A helpful thing I learnt from the show is that you have a location on your phone that can be turned off or on.  Millie Year 5

My favourite part of the show was when Zig went on a rampage. A helpful thing that I learnt from the show was to be safe online. Daniel Year 3

A helpful thing that I learnt from the show was to not bully. If I am feeling sad or worried I could run around and do exercise. Maryam Year 3

The message of the show was to be safe online. If I am feeling sad I could put on music. Haley Year 2

My favourite part of the show was the start and the music. If I am feeling upset I could dance or watch my favourite movie. Steffy Year 2

My favourite part of the show was the dancing. Ivy Year 1

My favourite part of the show was when they changed clothes. Maddie Year 1

I liked it when the robot touched the red button and then it did crazy stuff. Scarlett Foundation

I liked the song at the end. Sonia Foundation

Kind regards,
