Bus Travellers

Just a reminder for parents to notify the school when there are changes to the regular bus arrangements. This helps keep our transition from classrooms onto the bus and down to the college smooth and efficient. Follow up phone calls are made if students don't present to the bus line and this can significantly hold up the process and cause confusion for the teacher on duty.

We would love our school community to help support our bus drivers in ensuring our students are adhering to all of the bus expectations. We have recently been reminded by Lynda McKerrow the Bus Co-ordinator at Swan Hill College that students on country buses must:

-remain seated while the bus in moving and seat belts worn if they are available

-show respect for your bus drivers and fellow travellers

-not consume food on the bus to support students with allergies

At Swan Hill North Primary School, we pride ourselves on presenting to the public with the up most respect to all of those around us and I'm confident our students will continue to do this.

If parents need to collect their children from Swan Hill College please remember to park in Pye Street. Please do not park in the parking lane behind the buses on High Street as this becomes a hazard for our students and the bus drivers.

If students are intending to travel on a different bus to their usual bus, or non-bus travellers want to travel on a bus as a once off travel arrangement, please come into school and sign a bus pass application at our front office.

If you have any questions about bus arrangements please contact Elisha in our front office or Stacey Lloyd who escorts our students to Swan Hill College.
