We are well into the term now and there is plenty on as we move into one of the more busy periods.
For our first fundraiser for the term, Matt & Steph Glowaski, the Foundation Dad’s and other year level volunteers, did a superb job turning sausages at Moorabbin Bunnings on Sunday 24th July. They cooked over 600 sausages, drowned with 6 bottles of Rosella tomato sauce (which was kindly donated by Rosella) and chewed through 35 loaves of bread. The day raised over $1600 for the school. Shout out and a huge thank you to our parent volunteers, several pulling double shifts, and without you we could not make this happen!
PARENTS NIGHT OUT: SATURDAY THE 6TH OF AUGUST AT BRIGHTON YACHT CLUB
LET'S GET NAUTICAL
St James parents rallied once again, ticket sales reached our quota and we are cruising at full speed (get the nautical reference 😉) towards our main Parents Night Out Event this coming Saturday. Online tickets have closed, but you can still buy last minute tickets at the door if you have FOMO.
Note: we are unable to process any further refunds as numbers have been confirmed with the venue.
Be prepared for food and entertainment throughout the entire night. There will be games, prizes, DJ, photo booth and a silent auction with heaps of goodies up for grabs!
4 lucky golden ticket holders will win up to $1000 in vouchers including a $500 Chadstone Gift Card, $150 Elwood Bathers, $150 Mr & Mrs P, $100 Brighton Hotel and $100 Marine Hotel.
The silent Auction booklet has been sent via email to you to showcase the generous donations of local business and STJP families and community. Please take the time to browse as we want to see plenty of bidding on the night. There is some great value to be had and if you are unable to attend or really keen on an item, you can also put in a confidential bid on any item/s of interest beforehand. Please contact Paige Harrington, Belinda Quinn, Connie or Virginia as per below. EFTPOS payment will be available on the night.
