Year 5 Fremantle Prison Excursion

On Tuesday 21st June, Year 5 students from Rooms 5, 6, 7, and 11 went on an excursion to the Fremantle Prison. In class groups, the students were fortunate to be given the 'Convict Tour' by the very knowledgeable tour guides at the prison. Students visited cells, the exercise yard, solitary confinement, and the chapel. Visiting Moondyne Joe's cell was a definite highlight of the excursion!
Everyone who attended the prison learnt a lot about Western Australia's history. The excursion was enjoyed by all!
