Message from the Principal

St Anthony’s Parish and St Anthony’s School hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibilities of the Church.

St Anthony’s is fully compliant with all policies in relation to Child Safety. These documents ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Child Safety Standards which took effect on 1 January 2017 and reflect our Parish's ongoing commitment to ensuring that all children are safe, happy and empowered.

Hello Families and Friends of St Anthony's,

3 Way Conversations

This week we have held our student, parent and teacher conversations. It has been such a pleasure to welcome families back for face to face meetings. It has also been wonderful hearing the learning discussions lead by our amazing students.

St Anthony's Feast Day

Our St Anthony's Feast Day has been a brilliant way to end the term. On Thursday we had a beautiful school Mass to celebrate St Anthony's Feast Day. The students sang our school song proudly and the words truly represent all of us at St Anthony's:

Learning together and praying together,

St Anthony’s is where I belong (Claps)

Gathered together, celebrating together

Joining in our song (Claps)

Achieving at school today,

Each of us in our own way

Using gifts we learn to grow,

Helping all of us for tomorrow.

Following Jesus is our call

Sharing  and  being fair to all.

 One spirit of Harmony,

Just like St Anthony.

Miss Webb and Miss Lim worked with our student leaders to use student voice to deisgn our St Anthony's Feast Day celebration and activities. Some of the fun activities students and staff have shared today have included:

 - planting lilies in our community garden

 - Lego Master Building

 - St Anthony Portrait Drawing and our exciting

- Minute to win it challenges

- Colour Run and much more.

I thank Miss Webb and Miss Lim for all their organisation, all staff members for staying back on Thursday night to help set everything up and I also thank our amazing St Anthony's students.

St Anthony's Administration Building Refurbishment

The start date for our administration building refurbishment is Wednesday 13th July. During the refurbishment our school office will be located in our school library.  Access for families is from the side door in the staff carpark. We will have signs to lead the way and we will provide regular updates about the progress of their work.

Have a well-earned rest over the holidays. See you in Term Three!
