Welcome to Spring (La Primavera)
It is that time of the year and our students are getting ready for a well deserve break.
In term three our students have been consolidating their Spanish language learning
participating in class activities that involved dancing, singing and role playing.
Learning Spanish at school is not just about learning the language but also learning about the culture of some Spanish speaking countries.
In our lessons students have been learning learning about:
- Directions in Spanish.
- Facts of the Spanish speaking countries.
- Spanish country’s location in the world using maps.
- Spanish cultural tradition and celebrations.
- Facts about Animals from South America.
- Introduce themselves to build relationships.
- Recognise primary colours and numbers.
- Greet and farewell the teacher and their friends, based on the time of the day and
- Contributing to activities or projects that involve naming, illustrating, and writing simple sentences in Spanish.
