Athletics

Last Tuesday, we took 28 children to compete in the Divisional Athletics Carnival. These children participated against hundreds of other students. The resilience, sportsmanship, and effort was incredible by all of the children.

AFL Clinic

Last week,  AFL Victoria come out and run an AFL clinic with all of the students from grade prep to grade 6. Student enjoyed the clinic and learnt some new AFL skills, such as: marking, kicking and hand balling.

In Prep, we have started a new unit on skipping. We have been working through different activities and rotations to improve our skills. Students have been practising skipping individually and also partner skipping (skipping with a partner). Our prep students have continued learning and playing various minor warm up game’s such as ‘Octopus’ and ‘China wall’. 

 

Our Grade one two’s, three and four students have started a brand new unit on skipping. Students have been practising individual skipping and learning some new tricks. We have also been practising partner (skipping with a partner). Students have continued learning new warm up games such as ’Level up’ and ‘China wall’. 

 

Our grade five and sixes have started a brand new unit on skipping. Students have been practising individual skipping (and learning some new tricks). We have also been practising partner (skipping with a partner). Students have continued learning new warm up games such as ’Level up’ and ‘China wall’.
