Nice to Know

Banyule Nillumbik Tech School Creator Club

Over two terms students will learn to use industry standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Solidworks, and Adobe After effects. Students will use these skills with the Tech School technology to create their designs and to learn how to use our 3D printers, laser cutter, UV printer, garment printer and the embroidery machine. Students will get to keep any designs they create and manufacture on site.

Our expert facilitators will provide live demonstrations of tools and techniques, followed by time allocated for students to create their own designs or work on individual activities or projects.

This club will provide a fun opportunity to be creative whilst learning how to use powerful and professional software and technology!

Staff movement

We wish Ms Gangi all the best for her six month adventure in Italy.  I'm sure she'll come back with great stories about her wonderful experiences.  In Ms Gangi's absence, Ms Fecondo will fulfill the role as Leading Teacher:  Community Engagement.

We also wish Ms Van Urk a relaxing six months periods of leave, and thank her for the extensive work she has done with our Environmental Group and as Humanities Domain Leader.   Mr Drummond will be Humanities Domain Leader for the remainder of the year.

Mr Nelson finishes his term as Director of Music, and has made a major contribution in revitalising our instrumental music program after Covid.   He stays with us as an instrumental and classroom music teacher.

There are a number of allotment changes due to staff leave, staff changing time fractions, and staff returning from leave.  Although not ideal, these changes are unavoidable and I thank you for your understanding.
